2004 saw the inaugural Wanganui-wide Business Awards established with the expectation that they would become Wanganui’s premier annual business event. The event far surpassed expectations and coupled with the overwhelming success of subsequent events, The Wanganui Security & Electrical Business Awards has secured a significant place on Wanganui’s event calendar.
Initiated by the Wanganui Chamber of Commerce in association with the Wanganui Chronicle and Radio Network, the aim of the Wanganui Security & Electrical Business Awards, is to celebrate business innovation, excellence and achievement.
All entries are judged by an independent panel comprising of senior business executives appointed by Massey University
The Awards, which culminate in a glittering Gala Dinner in October or November each year, help the Wanganui Chamber of Commerce fulfil its role by showcasing and encouraging excellence, innovation and achievement in Wanganui business.
